Through a Community Managed Savings Group (CMSG), Nalari Julius, a member of the Nang’wari group in Ngoswak, Longido District, Arusha Region, has turned opportunity into success.
After receiving a loan through his savings group, he started a business trading maize, beans, and cooking oil. Although his community primarily depends on livestock keeping, Nalari recognized the growing demand for essential food commodities and chose to invest in the grain trade.

Today, her business contributes to improving his family’s income and stands as a testament to how access to financial services through CMSGs empowers community members to establish sustainable businesses, strengthen economic resilience, and create positive change in their lives.
